Sure, get you some sheet stainless steel, cut it out, bend to shape and bolt it on. Just don't forget to use some washers between the shield and the mounting point(s) to get an air gap in between, since a shield with no air space is just a fancy griddle/skillet/you get the idea. Should help at least somewhat. I'd make you one, but i don't run a trapp, I think they're atrocious.
